Product Information
CuSn11P (CC481K) is a phosphor bronze alloy with 11% tin (Sn) and phosphorus (P), known for its exceptional strength, wear resistance, and excellent corrosion resistance, particularly in marine and industrial environments. The addition of phosphorus enhances hardness, improves wear resistance, and refines the grain structure, making it ideal for high-load, high-wear applications. This lead-free alloy is widely used where environmental regulations restrict lead-containing materials. Typical applications of CuSn11P (CC481K) include:
- Heavy-duty bearings and bushings: Used in industrial machinery, hydraulic systems, and construction equipment due to its high load-bearing capacity.
- Gears and worm wheels: Suitable for power transmission components, providing excellent wear resistance under high stress.
- Pump and valve components: Common in marine, chemical, and water treatment industries, offering superior corrosion resistance.
- Sliding elements and wear plates: Ideal for guide rails, thrust washers, and friction-intensive applications.
- Shipbuilding and offshore equipment: Resistant to seawater corrosion, making it ideal for marine propellers, shafts, and submerged components.
- High-performance mechanical parts: Used in aerospace, railway, and automotive industries, where durability and reliability are crucial.
- Sliding elements and wear plates: Used in guide rails and thrust washers, ensuring long service life under frictional conditions.
