CuNi2Be (CW110C) is a copper alloy with nickel and beryllium, known for its excellent combination of mechanical strength and corrosion resistance. The presence of nickel provides high strength even at elevated temperatures, while the alloy retains good electrical and thermal conductivity. These properties can be further optimized through suitable heat treatment, which affects hardness, elasticity, and wear resistance.
CuNi2Be is widely used in the electrical, automotive, and aerospace industries, especially in applications requiring high fatigue resistance and thermal stability. Typical applications include spring connectors, contacts, fuse clips, sensors, diaphragms, precision instrument components, as well as molds and parts exposed to thermal and mechanical stress. Thanks to its excellent corrosion resistance, including resistance to seawater, it is also suitable for marine applications.
