Aluminum

Aluminum can be used both pure and in alloys. It is a metal with low density, good malleability and electrical conductivity.

Aluminum is widely used across various industries, especially in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, computer technology, construction, but it is also commonly found in households.

We supply aluminum in the form of bars (round, flat, square, hexagonal, hollow), tubes, or sheets. We cut semi-finished products into precise pre-final dimensions using band saws.

Al99.0 (EN AW-1200) is considered commercially pure aluminum and therefore has high corrosion resistance. It is perfectly anodizable, well formable and weldable, but harder to machine. It is used in wrought products, heat exchangers and equipment for the chemical or food industry.

AlCu4BiPb

AlCu4BiPb (EN AW-2011) belongs to duralumin alloys, so it contains about 5% copper. This alloy is similar to EN AW-2007, but softer. It is well suited for (high-speed) machining and drilling, while forming short chips. However, weldability, corrosion resistance and anodizing possibilities are poor. Suitable for various machine parts, screws and rivets.

AlCu4Mg1

AlCu4Mg1 (EN AW-2024) is a duralumin alloy and one of the most important grades. This alloy exhibits high strength and excellent machinability, but poor corrosion resistance. AlCu4Mg1 is not suitable for anodizing and welding. It is widely used for structures in aviation and automotive industries, as well as for screws, rivets, veterinary and orthopedic braces, etc.

AlCu4PbMg

AlCu4PbMg (EN AW-2030) is a duralumin alloy. It is easy to machine, but corrosion resistance is low, weldability is poor and it is not suitable for anodizing. Because of its strength, it is used in production of screws, pins, washers, flanges, sleeves, cylinders, pistons, etc.

AlCu4PbMgMn (EN AW-2007) belongs to duralumin alloys. Surcharges in aluminum significantly improve its machinability and thanks to the lead content, very short chips are formed. Threads are easily formed in AlCu4PbMgMn semi-finished products, even at high speeds. This alloy is suitable for machine parts, screws or rivets.

It is used for constructions in the chemical, food or shipbuilding industry, in hydraulics, tubes in aircraft, fencing, in household appliances, on railway cars, vehicle bodies, cages or pressure vessels.

Therefore, it provides a wide range of uses: windows, doors, hanging walls, frame systems, lighting, ladders, railings, fences, cooling sections, electric motor cases, mounting systems, pneumatic installations, furniture, office equipment and irrigation, cooling or heating pipes.
